Yesterday I attended Pinehurst Elementary School’s Camden Community Garden Family Night with my family. The event had beautiful weather and exceptional family participation. The students went to various stations to make a kindness rock with Grace Murdock, learn about the garden from Martin Hutchison, tour the Newton Community Center with Rachel Manning, receive books and learning materials, and plant a sunflower to take home. Thank you to the Pinehurst staff for organizing the event.
